This page is simply to tell y'all how to moderate the forum, write news and set up events.
Please do not abuse your mod powers, or I may just ask Mara if I can remove them.
Moderating the forum
So, you see a post that needs editing, deleting or moving - what do you do?
Editing
To edit the post itself, click on "options" below the post, then click "edit". You can then make whatever changes are necessary, and save the post.
If it's the title or summary that need editing, click on "+more options" below the summary, then click "edit title & description". You can then make whatever changes are necessary, and save them.
Note that if you edit a post, you should always leave a message saying that you did so.
Deleting
Deleting a whole thread
Click "+more options" below the summary, then click "move thread". Then, in the drop-down box, select "Hidden: Deleted Threads".
Deleting a single post
Click "options" below the post, then click "delete". Make sure you're deleting the correct post!
Moving
Click "+more options" below the summary, then click "move thread". Then, in the drop-down box, select whichever section you think it should go in.
Writing news and setting up events
Simply enter the title of the news or event into the following boxes:
